We respect that your time is valuable and we appreciate that you understand ours is too.

We have a 24-hour cancellation policy. Any cancellations that occur 24-hours or more before the scheduled time are able to be re-booked at no additional cost to the patient.

The first time any patient cancels or fails to attend an appointment within the 24-hours prior to the time of the booked appointment, the patient will be given the opportunity to re-book (with no financial penalty applied). Any subsequent cancellations or failures to attend, by/for the same patient that occur within a 24-hour period will be referred to the Practice coordinator and may result in a cancelled booking fee equal to the value of the consultation fee for that appointment.

Patients who make a booking and subsequently fail to present for their designated appointment (and have not contacted the clinic to cancel their appointment), may incur a cancelled booking fee which will be equal to the value of the consultation fee for that booking.

LapSurgery Australia does not issue refunds for cancelled appointments.

Should you wish to cancel your scheduled appointment, please contact LapSurgery Australia at least 24 hours prior to your appointment time (eg. if the appointment is at 3pm on Tuesday, please contact us no later than 3pm on Monday). As available appointments are in high demand, early cancellation will allow other patients the possibility of seeing one of our specialist surgeons, physicians or other health professionals.

Please understand that we consider cancellation fees to be a last resort, with the real motivating factor being our concern for the quality of service we are able to provide to you, and to our other valued patients.

How to reschedule or cancel your appointment

If you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment, please contact LapSurgery Australia by calling (03) 9760 2777
Alternatively, email info@lapsurg.net.au stating your full name, date of birth, date and time of your appointment and the doctor you were scheduled to attend.

We recognize that your time is valuable, and we make every effort to run on time. Occasionally emergencies or patients require a little more time can cause scheduling delays beyond our control.
